At ShopStyle Collective, we think that your traffic and conversion are both important measures of your influence, so we’ve designed a program that helps you monetize both. Using our tools can make you as much if not more revenue than other affiliate competitors when you strategically use our platform. Here’s how it works:
The Basics:
- ShopStyle Collective is a pay-per-click affiliate program that pays you for every valid click.
- ShopStyle Collective tracks all the clicks and sales you drive, on a regular basis, determine a unique pay-per-click rate for you based on your sales conversion and traffic volume.
- The more clicks that convert to sales, the more you get paid-per-click.
- The same pay-per-click rate applies to all the clicks you drive to all of ShopStyle’s retailers.
What’s My Pay-Per-Click Rate?
On your Analytics Dashboard, you’ll see your earnings and clicks for any given period. To see your pay-per-click rate, simply select the period and divide earnings by clicks. In the example below: $753 earnings/15000 clicks = $0.05 per click.
What are factors that influence your PPC?
- Total Reach on all your channels
- Traffic to Retailer
- Your Conversion
How to Get a Better Conversion Rate?
Remember the more sales you drive from your clicks, the more you can earn from your high conversion rate. Everything in affiliate marketing is focused around selling. You have to convert to actually impact your earnings. Dig into your analytics, check them daily and understand what it is your readers are clicking and buying; this will help shape your affiliate strategy. Find what works for your audience, and you will succeed with our tools.
How Can I Earn More?
To earn more money, you’ll want to increase both the number of clicks and the pay-per-click rate.
To increase the number of clicks, give your readers as many opportunities to click on your shoppable links as possible! Make sure you always:
-Include at least 12 touch points links in every post- this can be a combo of text links, or items within a product widget
-Blog 2-3 times a week, consistent regular content creates more traffic
-Regularly share product links on social media (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter)
To increase your pay-per-click rate, you’ll want to work on increasing your sales conversion. The little arrow on your Insights Page tells you whether your sales conversion is going up or down this month. To make sure your sales conversion is up:
-Blog about items from high-commission retailers
-Promote the latest sales from our retailers
-Diversify your sellable products to capture attention from those interested in fast fashion to high fashion
-Call out items in your posts that are on sale and have a discount code, include the code
-Replace sold out items in your widgets
-If the top converting brands are in a certain price point or of a certain style, provide them with more options with those criteria.
-If your beauty category has great conversion, try creating more beauty-specific content.
-If your product-widget conversion is higher than text links, perhaps your readers prefer that visual preview over just a link.
